The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carlson Jr.

Carlson Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Emanuel tries to sprawl out of it but Carlson Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Emanuel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Emanuel pushes Carlson Jr away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Carlson Jr gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Carlson Jr is working to tighten is grip on Emanuel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Emanuel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Carlson Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Emanuel passes out! Carlson Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
