Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sluggo Brott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brott comes into the arena with So What blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brott cracks Maynard with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Peter Maynard has been cut.
Maynard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Maynard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brott cracks Maynard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Maynard lands a head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maynard fails to land with a series of punches.
Maynard thows a leg kick but Brott checks it
and Brott counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Brott bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Maynard's head backwards.

Maynard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Maynard jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brott shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Maynard. Brott shrugs it off though.
Brott swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Peter Maynard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maynard throws a leg kick but Brott moved away.
Maynard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Maynard can't keep his opponent in guard - Brott advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brott wants to control but Maynard is keeping him busy.

Maynard is looking to escape.
Brott is pressing down on Maynard's thigh, looking to free his foot. Maynard is holding on for now.
Brott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maynard doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brott.
Maynard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A slapping leg kick lands for Maynard.

and Maynard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That has opened up Peter Maynard's cut even more.
Maynard throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Maynard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maynard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brott was well out of range. Poor timing from Maynard.
Brott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maynard defends it nicely.

Brott takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Maynard is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Brott rather than just go for the knockout.
Maynard throws a leg kick but Brott sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Brott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maynard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Maynard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sluggo Brott decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
