PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Sisko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nappa Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappa Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, The Sisko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sisko tries to score with a low kick but Jones moves his leg out of the way.
Sisko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones throws a jab when Sisko was well out of range.
Sisko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Sisko lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Sisko takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Nappa Jones has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Sisko is just out of range.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Sisko.

Sisko throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it.

Sisko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jones takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Sisko takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.

Sisko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sisko is looking to wear down Jones with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Jones throws a front kick aimed at Sisko's knee but Sisko avoids it well.
Sisko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sisko moves away.
Sisko swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

A thudding body kick lands there by Sisko!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Sisko counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Sisko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sisko lands with a slapping head kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Jones might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Sisko has got the better of the exchanges.
This has been an exciting period of action!
