Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between TT Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Coffey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TT Twister! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Coffey! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Coffey as Twister shoots in. Nice jab there from Coffey. Twister moves out of range of the leg kick from Coffey. Twister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coffey lands with an uppercut that bounces Twister off the cage and back into range. Coffey takes a swing at Twister's ribcage but misses. Coffey checks a leg kick. TT Twister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some bone on bone action there as Twister checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Coffey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Coffey with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Twister throws an overhand right that lands on Coffey's shoulder, as Coffey tries to avoid the shot. Coffey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Twister. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coffey slips under a jab. Twister throws a leg kick and Coffey counters with a good low kick that Twister was not able to check. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Twister is defended easily by Coffey. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TT Twister. That's going to take a lot out of him. Twister manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Coffey on his heels. He'll look to pass Coffey's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Twister is pushing down on Coffey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Coffey is fighting to maintain full guard but Twister has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Twister thows a huge punch but Coffey dodges it nicely.
Coffey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Twister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Twister throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Twister is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Twister working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Twister tries to pass to full mount but Coffey defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Twister connects with a nice short shot to Coffey's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Twister. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Twister takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Twister sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. TT Twister wasn't doing enough on the ground. Twister throws a jab when Coffey was well out of range. Coffey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Twister manages to avoid it. Coffey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. No luck for Twister with that takedown attempt. Coffey scores with a hook to the body. Twister takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Coffey checks a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Twister is predictable there and Coffey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Coffey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Coffey moves away from the strike by Twister. Coffey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Twister will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Coffey lands a nice looking body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coffey connects with an inside leg kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Coffey. Twister is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Twister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coffey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Coffey lands a nice looking kick to the body. Twister takes a step back to recover. Coffey works over Twister's head and body with a nice combination. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coffey scores with a jab. Twister acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Coffey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Coffey connects with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Coffey dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Coffey blocks a leg kick. Coffey moves away from the strike by Twister. Coffey misses with a body kick. Coffey connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Twister takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Coffey connects with a leg kick. Twister looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Coffey digs a good body shot into Twister's ribs. Coffey throws a nice inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coffey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Coffey scores with a jab. Twister acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Coffey feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Twister's calf. Coffey scores with a hook. Coffey has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Twister takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Twister is rocked! Coffey lands a nice looking kick to the body. Twister takes a step back to recover. Oh Twister is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Coffey drops Twister with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Twister! Coffey dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Coffey! John Coffey decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
