Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior BayawaK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Junior BayawaK! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dusty Rhodes! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BayawaK tries to clinch up. Junior BayawaK seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. BayawaK just misses with a punch to the body.
BayawaK throws a right hand that Rhodes ducks under and follows up with a left that Rhodes also avoids with ease. BayawaK tries for a takedown but Rhodes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rhodes leaves BayawaK with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. BayawaK fails with an attempt to clinch.
BayawaK feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rhodes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rhodes can do anything to dispel that myth. Rhodes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. BayawaK manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rhodes chips away with some ground and pound. Rhodes slips nicely into half guard. Rhodes not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rhodes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. BayawaK keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rhodes in particular looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Rhodes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Dusty Rhodes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. BayawaK misses with a takedown attempt - Rhodes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior BayawaK. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rhodes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming BayawaK to the mat! BayawaK manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhodes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rhodes chips away with some ground and pound. Rhodes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rhodes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rhodes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dusty Rhodes wasn't active enough on the ground. Rhodes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rhodes pushes a forearm under BayawaK's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, BayawaK is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
