Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pico Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Moss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rodrigo.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rodrigo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Moss clinches up against the cage.

Moss gets control of Rodrigo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moss will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Moss is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Moss looking for a sweep. Not yet Moss, not yet.
Moss seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Moss is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Rodrigo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moss has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rodrigo has managed to get both his arms back between Moss's legs - danger averted.

Rodrigo drops back looking for a leg! Moss is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moss manages to kick Rodrigo off! Rodrigo jumps back into Moss's guard.

Moss is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rodrigo being controlled here momentarily.

Rodrigo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodrigo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Moss wants to sweep here but Rodrigo controlling him for the moment.
Moss is looking to stand up but Rodrigo isn't so interested in that idea.
Moss looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moss trying to control the position.
Rodrigo wants to pass the guard but Moss is keeping the position.
Moss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodrigo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bill Moss hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rodrigo misses with a head kick.

Moss rushes Rodrigo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Moss wants to get back to striking at distance but Rodrigo won't allow it.
Moss jumps guard but Rodrigo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Rodrigo has Moss pressed against the cage, preventing Moss from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Moss lands with a left to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moss tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Moss has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rodrigo regains guard immediately.
Moss trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodrigo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moss has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rodrigo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Moss is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rodrigo pulls down on the head and he's put Moss to sleep! This one is all over!
