The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Channell misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wilson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Noris Wilson has been cut.
Wilson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Channell misses with a head kick.
Channell lands with a straight right. Wilson didn't see that one coming.
Channell avoids the head kick by Wilson.
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Channell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wilson if he has to take too many more of those.
Channell's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Channell duly obliges.
Noris Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Channell shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wilson eats them both and turns towards Channell to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Channell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Channell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Noris Wilson's cut is getting worse.
Channell throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Channell.
Channell lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Wilson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Channell and Wilson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Channell.
