The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vangaard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Vangaard works his foot free and advances to mount. Vangaard stands up from the dominant position.
