Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Saxobeat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lin moves into the clinch.

Lin successfully pulls guard.
Saxobeat trying to control but Lin is working from the bottom.
Saxobeat is fighting to break Lin's control of his arms but Lin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Saxobeat wants to control from the top but Lin keeps moving.
Saxobeat would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saxobeat's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Saxobeat enables Lin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Saxobeat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lin connects with a nice short shot to Saxobeat's temple.

Lin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Saxobeat knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
