Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guster Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer has chosen A Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guster Spencer! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster. Spencer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Foster misses with a takedown attempt - Spencer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Foster takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Foster looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Foster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Spencer.
Nice straight punches there by Spencer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Spencer. Foster throws a lazy right hand but Spencer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Spencer. That snapped Foster's head back.
Spencer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Foster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spencer.
Spencer misses with a looping left. Foster shoots in looking for a takedown but Spencer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Foster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Foster tries a head kick but it misses.
A shot to the liver by Foster. Beautiful body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Spencer throws a shot to the body.
Foster dives in and grabs Spencer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spencer pushes down on Foster's head and hops out. Jake Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Spencer. Foster does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster misses with a takedown and Spencer counters with a right hand to the body. Spencer thows a body shot but no joy. Foster closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Spencer quickly recovers to half guard. Foster is looking for a kimura here.
Spencer tries to roll over but Foster keeps him under control. Spencer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Foster postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spencer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spencer is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.

Spencer is trying to control the position but Foster postures up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spencer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Foster is controlling him. Foster tries to free his leg and advance position but Spencer is retaining full guard. Foster engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Spencer trying to keep a closed guard but Foster is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Guster Spencer. Foster tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster fails with the takedown. Spencer throws a half hearted mid kick. Spencer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Foster drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spencer prevents Foster from moving into mount. Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spencer keeps working. Foster landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Foster working the ground and pound. Spencer can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A lull in the action here. Spencer sneaks back into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Foster prevents Spencer from improving his position. Foster throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Foster trying to control the action but Spencer is working from the bottom. Spencer trying to control but Foster postures up.
Foster thows a huge punch but Spencer dodges it nicely.
Spencer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Foster is pressing down on Spencer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Spencer is holding on for now. Nice strikes from Foster there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spencer is pressing down on Foster's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Foster is stalling in the full guard. Foster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spencer swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Foster will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Spencer. No joy for Foster on that attempt. Foster pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spencer is out of range and Foster settles back down. Foster closes the distance and clinches up with Spencer, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes Spencer against the cage but Spencer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Foster fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spencer avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Foster wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Spencer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Foster rather than just go for the knockout. Foster shoots in but Spencer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Spencer misses the shot to the body. Foster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spencer.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Spencer in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Foster connects with a high kick.
It looks like Guster Spencer has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Spencer getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Spencer misses the jab.

Spencer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spencer, right into the meat.

A jab from Spencer finds it's way through Foster's defenses. Foster moves out of range of the leg kick from Spencer. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foster walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Foster moves forwards but Spencer connects with a nice, crisp jab. Foster misses with a takedown attempt - Spencer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Foster misses with a takedown attempt and Spencer counters with a solid body kick. Guster Spencer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Spencer throws the left hand but Foster avoids the punch easily. Foster fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Spencer lands with a nice body punch. Spencer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Spencer scores with a punch to the head. Foster moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Foster darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Spencer trying to control here.
Foster wants to work for an arm triangle but Spencer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Spencer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Foster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spencer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Foster lands a couple of digs. Foster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Foster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Spencer's head. Jake Foster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Spencer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spencer wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spencer is keeping the position for now. Foster wants to stand and escape but instead Spencer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Foster is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spencer defends well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spencer trying to control but Foster is working from the bottom. Spencer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Foster is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spencer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Foster. Spencer wants to control but Foster is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Guster Spencer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Guster Spencer's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Spencer tries to score with a low kick but Foster moves his leg out of the way. Spencer scores with a shot to the body.
Foster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spencer circles away. The fighters circle momentarily. Spencer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Spencer thows a left - swing and a miss! Guster Spencer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Spencer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Foster. That did some damage! A punch combination from Foster misses. Foster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spencer's waist but Spencer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Foster off to one side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Foster takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Foster walks into a stiff left hand from Spencer. Foster looks for a takedown but Spencer sprawls well. Spencer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Foster's head backwards.

Spencer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Foster. Spencer connects with a body shot that sends Foster's belly button to the back. Spencer lands a nice hook to Foster's body. Foster takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Foster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Foster doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Spencer lands an overhand right. Foster defending well as Spencer loads up on a big left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Foster. Foster circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Spencer lands with a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spencer thuds his right hand into Foster's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Spencer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Foster shoots in and drives through. Spencer sprawls well. Spencer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Foster tries for a takedown but Spencer circles away easily and Spencer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Foster misses with a takedown and Spencer counters with a slapping leg kick. Spencer connects with a right hand. Foster shakes it off. Foster takes a jab on the nose there. Spencer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foster doesn't seem bothered though. A combination from Spencer does no damage. Spencer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Spencer thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that's the end of the fight! Guster Spencer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spencer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
