Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Safo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smelly Fingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Safo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Up Your Speed by Sway DaSafo. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fingers's choice of entrance music: Foux Da FaFa . Derek Safo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fingers fails with a takedown attempt.

Fingers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fingers stalling away here and it's allowed Safo to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Fingers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fingers throws a strike but Safo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Fingers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Safo tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Fingers has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fingers goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Safo turns into him and now he's in Fingers's guard.

Fingers throws his legs up looking for a submission but Safo uses it to pass to side control.
Fingers looking for a sweep but Safo has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Fingers is looking to improve his position but Safo isn't that keen on the idea.
Fingers tries to hold on but Safo pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fingers is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smelly Fingers dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Safo scores with a hook to the body. Fingers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Safo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fingers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fingers is defended easily by Safo.
Safo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Safo stuffs the takedown attempt from Fingers. Fingers gets slowly back to his feet.
Fingers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Derek Safo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smelly Fingers.
Fingers closes the distance and clinches up with Safo, looking for a takedown. Fingers pushes Safo against the cage but Safo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Safo misses with a kick to the body.
Fingers shoots in but no luck this time.
Safo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fingers backs up against the cage.
Fingers has a takedown stuffed.
Safo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fingers fails to land the takedown.
Fingers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fingers is breathing heavily.
Safo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Safo lands a left and a right that send Fingers crashing to the mat, dazed. Safo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Smelly Fingers has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Safo connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Fingers! He's out on his feet! Safo rushes in and drops Fingers with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Derek Safo!
Derek Safo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
