Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jingo Monteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Acadio Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ninguém Regula a América - Rappa e Sepultura kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Acadio Rocha acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jingo Monteiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Acadio Rocha! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monteiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Monteiro closes the distance and clinches up with Rocha, looking for a takedown. Monteiro pushes Rocha against the cage but Rocha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rocha shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Monteiro napping and manages to drive through into side control! Monteiro tries to bench press Rocha off him but Rocha keeps the position. Monteiro manages to get back to half guard. Rocha stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rocha drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Monteiro throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Monteiro is striking from the bottom but Rocha uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Monteiro missing with punches from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monteiro misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rocha blocks the strikes from Monteiro.
Monteiro tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rocha has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Monteiro throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monteiro keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Monteiro is breathing heavily. Monteiro swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Monteiro is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Rocha is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Monteiro to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Monteiro shrugs it off. Monteiro tries to improve his position but instead Rocha has taken his back! Monteiro covering up well and avoiding damage. Rocha working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Monteiro is doing well to defend. Rocha seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Monteiro is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Acadio Rocha! An out of breath Acadio Rocha thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
