Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Mir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Mir!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir throws a jab but it's blocked by Snow.
Mir fails to land with a series of punches.
Mir misses with an uppercut.
Mir missing with a left hand there. Snow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mir throws a jab but it's blocked by Snow.
Mir scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Snow shoots for a double leg takedown but Mir sprawls well. He's pushed Snow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Snow drives through with a takedown into Mir's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Snow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
