Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Ridgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Salek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ridgeon's entrance music is The last fight. A fine choice. David Ridgeon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Ridgeon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 36 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Salek! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salek moves to clinch but Ridgeon breaks away and Ridgeon counters by clinching up. Ridgeon is looking to take this one to the mat. Ridgeon managing to block the knees to the body from Salek.
Salek misses with an elbow over the top. The referee is keeping an eye on Ridgeon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ridgeon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Salek gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ridgeon gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salek keeping moving, preventing Ridgeon from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ridgeon throws a big elbow that misses. Ridgeon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ridgeon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ridgeon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ridgeon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ridgeon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ridgeon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Salek can't keep his opponent in guard - Ridgeon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Ridgeon there. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ridgeon lands a nice short elbow. Ridgeon passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salek looks gassed! Ridgeon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ridgeon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ridgeon!
