Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gino Gorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorden has chosen Method Man- I came to bring the pain as his entrance music. Dan Millar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gino Gorden 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Millar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gino Gorden ! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorden tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Millar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Millar. Millar lands a couple of digs. Millar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Millar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Millar working some strikes from top position. Gorden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Millar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gorden has momentary wrist control but Millar slips an elbow through the middle. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gorden wants to stand and escape but Millar is having none of it. Millar slips nicely into half guard. Millar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gorden is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Millar scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gorden is rocked! Millar sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Gorden ! Oh, Gorden is in big trouble! Millar lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dan Millar! Dan Millar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
