Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khash Mango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Khash Mango! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teddy Ward! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mango fails with a takedown attempt. Ward on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mango. Mango obviously looking to wear him down.
Mango forces Ward back against the cage and clinches. Mango lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Mango's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Some wild striking there from Mango.
Ward throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mango counters with a good, hard body kick but Ward shrugs it off. Mango tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ward sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mango somewhat. Ward throws a series of punches but Mango avoids them all with ease. Ward misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ward throws a right and a left that both miss. A head kick from Mango lands but Ward takes it in his stride.
It looks like Teddy Ward has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ward lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mango circles away quickly and effectively. Mango clinches up with Ward and pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mango missing with knees to the body.
Mango blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mango pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mango avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mango displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ward throws out the jab. Ward takes a kick to the side of the head. Ward throws a combination that misses and Mango counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mango doesn't manage to clinch there - Ward circles away.
Mango shoots for a takedown but Ward saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khash Mango. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ward chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mango can pounce on him.
Ward looks gassed! Mango avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ward will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mango shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ward but Ward pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mango lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ward takes a step back to recover. Mango has a takedown stuffed. Mango throws a head kick that half lands.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mango. Ward shrugs it off though. Mango throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ward. Mango shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mango showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mango stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ward to get to his feet. Mango moves into the clinch. Mango lands a hook that snaps the head of Ward backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mango is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ward is defending well for now. Mango throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ward blocks it with crossed arms. Mango lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mango controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mango works a leg free and moves into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ward can do anything to dispel that myth. Ward strikes from the bottom but Mango passes into mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mango has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mango's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Khash Mango dominated that round. The cut man is working on Teddy Ward's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mango. Ward shrugs it off though. Mango is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ward can do to turn this around? A combination from Ward does no damage. Khash Mango is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mango is looking to clinch. A combination from Ward does no damage. Ward swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danga de danga de dang - Ward scores with a four punch combination! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ward throws a jab when Mango was well out of range. Mango slips a jab and a cross from Ward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mango is defended easily by Ward. Mango tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ward sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mango somewhat. Ward gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Mango counters with a nice body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mango forces Ward back against the cage and clinches. Mango has picked Ward up - he's going for a ride! Mango dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Mango with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mango missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Khash Mango wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ward throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Mango looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mango gets to his feet. Ward looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mango looking to score a takedown here. Ward is defending well but Mango drives through and ends up in Ward's guard. Khash Mango overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mango seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mango is looking to work some ground and pound but Ward has wrist control. Mango gets to his feet - Ward follows without any prompting. Ward has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Mango. Mango gets a clinch. Mango misses with a knee to the head.

Mango lands with a kick to the temple. Ward shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Mango lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ward doesn't seem phased though. Khash Mango is winning the standup battle so far. Nice shot lands for Ward. This has been an exciting period of action! Mango throws a head kick that Ward semi-blocks.

Mango tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A solid leg kick lands there for Mango.
Mango is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ward looks to land a combination but Mango avoids it well. Ward throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mango counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ward is lucky that one didn't land flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mango shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ward as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khash Mango. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mango scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Teddy Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Mango.
Ward throws a nice looking combination but Mango bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khash Mango dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Teddy Ward's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mango looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ward tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Mango manages to move to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. Mango seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ward for as long as he can get away with. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ward throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Ward is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mango takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mango looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ward is fending him off so far but Mango persists. Nope, Ward circles away and we're back to standing. Mango clinches up against the cage. Mango breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mango gets a double leg takedown into Ward's guard. Ward is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mango dives into side control.
Ward wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Ward is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ward is being controlled here. Mango has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. This has been an exciting period of action! Ward throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mango sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ward falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mango counters with a slapping leg kick. Mango moves out of range of the strikes. Mango lunges at Ward with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ward's hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mango rushes Ward and presses him up against the cage. Mango landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Teddy Ward has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ward has had enough of the clinch but Mango keeps him there for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Khash Mango showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mango has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Khash Mango! After the fight, Khash Mango was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
