These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Magalhaes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Garcia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Garcia lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Garcia in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Magalhaes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Garcia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Magalhaes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ricky Garcia has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Magalhaes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Magalhaes is rocked!
Magalhaes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Magalhaes is still on wobbly legs! Can Garcia finish him?
Garcia lands a big right hook! Magalhaes looks hurt but is still standing! Garcia lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Magalhaes falls down and Garcia dives in with a huge hammer fist! Magalhaes's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Garcia runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
