Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francis Pushkar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Pinochet!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pinochet pushes Pushkar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pushkar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pinochet parries the strikes from Pushkar easily there. Pushkar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pinochet to escape.

Pushkar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Pinochet ducks right into an uppercut from Pushkar.
Pinochet shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pushkar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pinochet walks into a straight right hand from Pushkar.
Pinochet misses with a takedown attempt - Pushkar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pushkar lands with a kick to the temple. Pinochet shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Pinochet needs to keep his hands up - Pushkar had a free shot at his head there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pushkar tests Pinochet's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pushkar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Pushkar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Pushkar wants to finish this one by submission but Pinochet is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pushkar.

Pushkar working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pinochet turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pushkar off and cradles Pinochet's limp body as Pushkar celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Francis Pushkar!
