The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez fakes the leg kick and cracks Youngblood in the body.
Lopez throws a head kick that misses.
Youngblood is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lopez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Youngblood tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lopez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Youngblood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lopez as he avoids it easily.
Youngblood closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lopez circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DJ Youngblood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lopez slaps away a takedown attempt from Youngblood, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick from Lopez lands but Youngblood takes it in his stride.

It looks like DJ Youngblood has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lopez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Youngblood, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Youngblood fails to land.
Youngblood misses with some punches.
Lopez lands a good knee to the midsection. Youngblood won't want to take too many of those.
Youngblood is breathing heavily.
Youngblood wants to take the fight to the mat but Lopez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Youngblood tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lopez smiles and moves away.
Youngblood misses with a takedown attempt - Lopez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crunch! Lopez slams his shin into Youngblood's torso.
Nice body kick from Lopez.
Lopez lands a high kick!
DJ Youngblood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lopez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Lopez has managed to clinch.
Lopez jerks Youngblood's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Youngblood drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Lopez goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Lopez because Youngblood was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
