Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alberto Del Rio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Marcos Knight! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Rio staying out of range there. Horrible takedown by Del Rio or perhaps it was just good defense by Knight which made him look bad. Knight lands a jab to Del Rio's midsection. Knight fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Knight defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Del Rio. No luck for Del Rio with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberto Del Rio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Del Rio darts in and clinches Knight up against the cage. Knight wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Knight is trying to push Del Rio away but Del Rio has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Del Rio keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Knight's efforts to push away. Knight misses with a knee strike.
Del Rio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Knight is trying to break the clinch but Del Rio has him pressed against the cage. Knight has had enough of the clinch but Del Rio keeps him there for the moment.

Knight keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Del Rio fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Knight misses with an uppercut. Del Rio saw that one coming. Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Del Rio. Del Rio gets slowly back to his feet. Del Rio avoids the body shot from Knight.
Knight lands a really nice looking cross but Del Rio seems unphased.

Del Rio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Del Rio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Knight keeping moving, preventing Del Rio from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Del Rio. Knight is trying to control the position but Del Rio postures up. Del Rio not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Del Rio looking to pass the guard. Del Rio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Knight gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Del Rio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Rio trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Knight can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Del Rio controls the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Del Rio loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Knight looks gassed! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Del Rio drops back looking for a leg! Knight is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Knight manages to kick Del Rio off! Del Rio jumps back into Knight's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Del Rio takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Del Rio looks for a takedown but Knight sprawls well. Knight throws a looping overhand right but Del Rio ducks down to avoid it. Knight is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Del Rio rather than just go for the knockout. Del Rio gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Knight tries to break the clinch but Del Rio is controlling the position. Knight is trying to break free. Knight looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Del Rio drops down looking for an ankle pick but Knight pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Knight throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Alberto Del Rio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Del Rio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knight sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Del Rio somewhat. Del Rio fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Knight works over Del Rio's head and body with a nice combination. Del Rio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Knight's half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Del Rio controlling the pace. Del Rio is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Knight reverses the position - he's now on top in Del Rio's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight wants to stand but Del Rio has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Knight gets to his feet. Del Rio looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Knight misses with a two punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Rio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nice defenses there by Del Rio. Knight misses with an uppercut. Knight leaves Del Rio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Knight lands a really nice looking cross but Del Rio seems unphased.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Del Rio seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Del Rio shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Del Rio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knight listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Del Rio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Marcos Knight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Knight misses with a straight right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alberto Del Rio will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Del Rio closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Del Rio lands in his opponent's guard. Del Rio engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Del Rio won't allow Knight to sweep him here. Del Rio wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.

Knight looks to land a combination but Del Rio avoids it well. Knight stuffs the takedown. Knight connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Knight misses with a looping left. Del Rio shoots in for a double leg but Knight sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberto Del Rio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knight throws a body punch but Del Rio moves out of range. Del Rio shoots in and bounces Knight off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Knight looking for a sweep. Not yet Knight, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Rio wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving. Del Rio in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Del Rio content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Alberto Del Rio just wasn't active enough. Del Rio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Del Rio just content to control the position. Knight is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Knight wants to control but Del Rio postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Rio misses with the ground and pound. Del Rio controls the position. Check out the look on Del Rio's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Alberto Del Rio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Knight is letting Del Rio control him for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Alberto Del Rio showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Del Rio, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
