Waters comes to the cage accompanied by 50 Cent - Ready for War. Alverez has chosen ALL DAY as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters defending well as Alverez loads up on a big left hand.
Alverez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Waters on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Alverez fails with the takedown.
Waters fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Alverez has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Waters.
Alverez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Waters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alverez leaves Waters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Waters misses with a wild combination.

Alverez rushes Waters and presses him up against the cage.
Alverez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Alverez lands a shoulder strike.

Alverez manages to break the clinch.
Alverez lands a head kick. Waters smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Alverez loads up on a big right hand but Waters slips the punch.
Alverez getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Waters is rocked!
Waters takes a swing at Alverez's ribcage but misses.
Oh Waters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alverez steps in with a hook that catches Waters right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Alverez follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Waters looks absolutely devastated.
