The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers moves in looking to clinch but Viduka pushes him off.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Viduka closes the distance and clinches up with Mathers, looking for a takedown. Viduka pushes Mathers against the ropes but Mathers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Viduka shoots in for a double leg but Mathers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Viduka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mathers uses from the top position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
