The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff with a lazy takedown attempt
and Knight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duff's guard.
Knight postures up in Duff's guard and throws a big left but Duff blocks it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Duff is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knight defends well.

Duff is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Knight has his hands clasped together but Duff extends an breaks Knight's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Duff.
