Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabin Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabin Soto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erick Murphy! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy misses with a two punch combination.
Soto tries to clinch up and Murphy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Soto thinking. No joy there for Murphy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soto wants to clinch and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Fabin Soto has been cut. Murphy circles away from the clinch attempt and Soto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Murphy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Murphy misses with the combination.
Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Soto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Soto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Soto tries to clinch but Murphy is having none of it. Erick Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soto tries to clinch but Murphy moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy misses with a looping left. Soto tries to clinch there but Murphy circles away.
Murphy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soto tries to close the distance and clinch but Murphy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Soto moves in looking to clinch but Murphy pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Soto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Soto tries to clinch up. Soto closes the distance but Murphy moves to the side and Murphy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Soto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Soto looks to clinch and Murphy counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Soto off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Murphy follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Soto was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Erick Murphy! Jumping up and down and very excited, Erick Murphy waved his t-shirt featuring Torment Fightwear's logo in front of the cameras.
