Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kivi Kasvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasvo has chosen Danzig Mother as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick James! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kivi Kasvo! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasvo slips under a jab from James. Kasvo shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kasvo feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Kasvo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. James manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kasvo manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kasvo has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though. James drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kasvo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kasvo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kasvo! James is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kasvo is trying to get an arm triangle but James is defending well. James tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kasvo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. James regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. James works his way to full guard. Good work. Kasvo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kasvo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. James tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kasvo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! James is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! James has escaped and now he's on top! James postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kasvo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of James, into his guard. Kasvo won't allow James to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kasvo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kasvo wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James looking to control.
Kasvo advances to half guard. James wants to get back to full guard but Kasvo has mounted him! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kasvo with shots to the head and body - James looks very uncomfortable down there. James can't escape the position.
James looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Kasvo is looking for a choke. James gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. James manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Kasvo looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James tries to free his leg and advance position but Kasvo is retaining full guard. Kasvo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. James advances to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kasvo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James. James is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kasvo has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kasvo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kasvo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kasvo. James tries to free his leg and advance position but Kasvo is retaining full guard. James has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kasvo trying to keep a closed guard but James is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasvo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kasvo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. James doesn't defend quickly enough and Kasvo has managed to lock this one up! Can James escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kasvo on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kivi Kasvo! Kivi Kasvo retains his super heavyweight title! A very excited looking Kivi Kasvo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
