Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Slain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slain has chosen green green grass as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Machin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Slain! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slain fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machin, pushing him back against the cage. Slain lands a nice shot to the body. Slain with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Slain lands an elbow inside that Machin shrugs off. Slain swings wildly with an uppercut but Machin uses good head movement to avoid it. Machin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Slain tries to land knees in the clinch but Machin avoids the damage to the body. Slain unloads a knee to the mid-section. Machin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Slain takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Machin avoids a wild elbow strike from Slain. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Slain. Slain prevents Machin from breaking the clinch. Slain throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Machin blocks it with crossed arms. A frustrated look appears on Machin's face as he tries to break the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Slain just misses with a elbow thrown towards Machin's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slain keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Machin's efforts to push away. Machin is looking to break free of the clinch but Slain has double underhooks. Machin blocks the elbow strike.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slain creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Machin working hard to break the clinch. Machin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Slain tries to land knees in the clinch but Machin avoids the damage to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Slain dominated that round. That's time! Machin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Machin jabs Slain to the body, keeping him at a distance. Machin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Slain is out of range and Machin settles back down. Machin throws a lazy body kick and Slain counters with a good low kick that Machin was not able to check. Machin misses with a low kick. Slain doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Machin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Slain wants to clinch. Slain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Slain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Machin.
Machin works over Slain's head and body with a nice combination. Machin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Machin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slain drops his hands momentarily and Machin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Slain gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Machin. Slain throws a leg kick but Machin checks it. Slain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Machin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Machin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Machin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Slain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Machin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machin jabs at Slain's body. Slain moves in looking to clinch but Machin pushes him off. Machin blocks a head kick by Slain.
Machin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Slain's head backwards. Machin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Machin is looking to chop away at Slain's legs. Machin lands a nice looking body shot.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Slain in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Slain tries to clinch up but Machin circles away and keeps his distance. Machin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Slain drops his hands momentarily and Machin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
