Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Swanson.
Swanson misses with a few strikes there.
Swanson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dean pinned against the cage. Dean gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Swanson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dean scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Swanson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dean stuns Swanson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dean thuds a left hand into Swanson's body.

Dean tries to score with some ground and pound. Swanson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swanson keeps working.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dean throws an elbow that misses. Swanson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dean's guard. Nice move by Swanson!

Dean looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Swanson wants to control from the top but Dean keeps moving.
Swanson is stalling in the full guard.
Swanson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Max Dean will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dean lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Swanson jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Dean bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Swanson stalks Dean and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dean's face. Dean staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Max Dean has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dean feints a jab promting Swanson to slip. Dean then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Swanson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Swanson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dean avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dean fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Swanson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Swanson slips a jab and a cross from Dean.
Swanson looks to land a left hand but Dean moved out of range nicely.
Dean drops Swanson with a left and a right! Oh, Swanson is hurt - Dean dives into side control looking to finish!
Swanson is rocked!
Nigel Swanson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nigel Swanson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Max Dean!
Max Dean really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fighters First Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
