PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessie Elliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Elliot tries to clinch but Hernandez moves out of range.

Elliot feints a jab promting Hernandez to slip. Elliot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hernandez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Elliot closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hernandez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Elliot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Elliot tries to bum rush Hernandez with a series of wild strikes but Hernandez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Well Elliot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
