Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Francis Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ketchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Ketchup is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Francis Drake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 39 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ketchup! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ketchup takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ketchup closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Drake's guard. Drake is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ketchup trying to control the position from guard on top but Drake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ketchup pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drake is keeping the position for now. Drake working for submissions but it's allowed Ketchup to get to half guard.
Drake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ketchup prevents Drake from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake is working hard here to advance position. Drake is pressing down on Ketchup's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Drake trying to keep a closed guard but Ketchup is proving a slippery customer.
Ketchup decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Drake, up you get! Ketchup throws a nice head kick!
Ketchup slaps away a takedown attempt from Drake, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ketchup lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Ketchup is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ketchup dives in and scores a takedown into Drake's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ketchup looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ketchup is one step ahead there. Drake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ketchup on the ground. Drake throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ketchup stands up and waves to Drake to follow him. Drake throws a head kick that misses and Ketchup counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drake's guard now. Drake looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Drake trying to keep a closed guard but Ketchup is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Drake striking off his back but it's not causing Ketchup any problems.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ketchup not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ketchup lands a couple of digs. Drake looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Drake looking to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ketchup wants to control from the top but Drake keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Drake tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ketchup manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Drake closes the distance looking to clinch and Ketchup counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Drake wants to improve his position but instead Ketchup has moved into half guard.
Ketchup is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Drake is just riding it out for now. Ketchup eventually gives up the hold. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ketchup wants to take a breather but Drake is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Ketchup dominated that round. That's time! Drake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ketchup gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ketchup gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Drake regains guard.
Ketchup won't allow Drake to sweep him here. Drake wants to hit a switch here but Ketchup passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drake there! Ketchup working the ground and pound effectively.
Drake is squirming around, avoiding Ketchup's attempts to control the action. Drake is looking to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Drake is in a horrible position here. Ketchup smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drake really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Drake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Drake tries to get out of the position. Ketchup is standing up, even though he is in mount. Drake tries to clinch but Ketchup moves away and Ketchup counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drake shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ketchup's guard. Ketchup is breathing heavily. Ketchup has Drake pulled in close to control his posture. Drake tries to free his leg and advance position but Ketchup is retaining full guard. Drake working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ketchup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Drake has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ketchup is looking to sweep but instead, Drake has passed into half guard.
Drake trying to mount his opponent but Ketchup defends it. Ketchup is refusing to be controlled, as Drake sits in half guard. John Ketchup has got the better of the ground game so far. Drake seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ketchup is not content to let Drake control the position. Ketchup makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ketchup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ketchup looking for a sweep. Not yet Ketchup, not yet. Ketchup pulls Drake in to control the position. Ketchup looking for a sweep. Not yet Ketchup, not yet. Ketchup is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ketchup keeping full guard, as Drake tries to pass. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Drake stuffs the takedown attempt from Ketchup. Ketchup gets slowly back to his feet. Drake misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Ketchup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Sloppy strikes from Drake. Those never looked like landing. Ketchup shoots in for a takedown but Drake shows good takedown defense. Drake tries to clinch but Ketchup moves away and Ketchup counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ketchup misses with a takedown attempt - Drake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Drake misses with a double jab
and Ketchup counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ketchup. Drake wants to sweep here but Ketchup controlling him for the moment. Drake throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Drake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ketchup stacks Drake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ketchup! Drake is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ketchup's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake wants to get back to full guard but Ketchup has mounted him! Ketchup content just to control the position here. Drake tries to hold on but Ketchup pushes him away. Ketchup working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ketchup wants to finish this one by submission but Drake is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ketchup. Drake is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ketchup manages to capitalize on a mistake by Drake to take his back! Ketchup has his arm under Drake's chin here. Game over son! Ketchup squeezes tightly and Drake is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Ketchup! John Ketchup decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
