The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boykin closes the distance and pushes Clubman back into the cage.

Clubman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clubman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Boykin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clubman defends it easily.

Clubman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boykin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boykin shoots in for a takedown but Clubman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Boykin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Clubman did well to prevent Boykin getting side control.
