Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between New Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, New Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Hendricks! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Fighter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hendricks. Hendricks throws the left hand but Fighter avoids the punch easily. Fighter closes the distance and pushes Hendricks back into the cage. Hendricks tries to score a body lock takedown but Fighter shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hendricks successfully pulls guard.
Fighter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hendricks throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Fighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hendricks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fighter defends well. Hendricks has control of Fighter's left arm, preventing Fighter from doing any damage. Fighter throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendricks utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hendricks working for a triangle but Fighter defends it easily.

Fighter tries to stand but Hendricks is controlling from the bottom. Hendricks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fighter throws a strike but Hendricks rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hendricks is one step ahead there. Hendricks postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hendricks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hendricks trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fighter is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendricks drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fighter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hendricks has Fighter in his guard. Fighter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fighter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hendricks is striking off his back. Fighter thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Fighter lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Fighter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hendricks on the ground. Hendricks is controlling Fighter's position as best he can from this difficult position. Hendricks is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendricks missing with strikes from the back. Hendricks throwing wild punches that miss their target. Hendricks punches Fighter on the ear. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hendricks working for a choke but Fighter is defending well. Hendricks punches Fighter on the ear. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hendricks is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Hendricks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter tries to avoid it but Hendricks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter to the ground. Fighter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter avoids the body shot from Hendricks.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Fighter throws a knee to the head but misses.

Hendricks has had enough of the clinch but Fighter keeps him there for the moment. Hendricks jumps guard and drags Fighter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fighter wants to get up but he can't break Hendricks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hendricks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fighter's guard. Hendricks throws a big right hand that misses. Hendricks throwing strikes but missing. Hendricks is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter wants to sweep here but Hendricks controlling him for the moment. Fighter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hendricks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hendricks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter manages to get himself to full guard.

Hendricks can't keep hold of the triangle and Fighter manages to pass to side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fighter has managed to clinch.
