And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rhomber Vernius!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernius gets caught flat footed, as Kamaina shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kamaina has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vernius to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kamaina is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vernius pulls down on the head and he's put Kamaina to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rhomber Vernius!
