Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaspars Daugavins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Beauj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Beauj's choice of entrance music: Metalica-Of wolf and man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauj will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Beauj uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Daugavins.
Daugavins scores with a jab. Beauj acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Beauj is trying desperately to land a takedown but Daugavins is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Beauj.

Daugavins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Daugavins lands a really nice looking cross but Beauj seems unphased.
Beauj's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daugavins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beauj scrambles back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daugavins is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Daugavins grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Beauj takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Daugavins cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
