Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Louzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McManus has chosen Jeff Danna - 'The Blood of Cú Chulainn' as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Joe Louzon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joe Louzon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Louzon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Connor McManus!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McManus, as that shot connected.
Louzon scores with a jab to the jaw.

McManus closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Louzon's guard.
McManus pushes down on Louzon's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Louzon is not content to let McManus control the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McManus in particular looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Connor McManus wasn't active enough on the ground.
McManus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McManus swings for the body but Louzon moves out of range.
Joe Louzon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Louzon throws a leg kick

and McManus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McManus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
McManus trying to control the position from guard on top but Louzon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Louzon is looking for a triangle but McManus pushes his legs off easily.
McManus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McManus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Louzon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McManus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Louzon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McManus is controlling him.
McManus engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Connor McManus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
McManus lands a right hook to the body.
Louzon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McManus lands an overhand right.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

McManus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McManus has Louzon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Louzon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Louzon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

McManus breaks the clinch.
Louzon throws a lazy uppercut
and McManus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McManus lands a lovely overhand right.
Louzon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Louzon misses with a head kick.
Louzon throws a right hand that misses
and McManus counters with a straight right hand.
Louzon misses with a lunging right hand
and McManus counters with a left to the body.

Oooooh!!! McManus has knocked Louzon down with a huge combo! McManus steps away and waves a wobbly Louzon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Louzon is rocked!

It looks like Joe Louzon has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Louzon takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Louzon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McManus moves away from the strike by Louzon.
Louzon throws a head kick but McManus moves out of range.
Louzon seems to have got his legs back now.
Louzon misses with an uppercut.
McManus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Louzon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McManus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Louzon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McManus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Louzon is breathing heavily.
McManus looks to land a combination but Louzon avoids it well.
McManus connects with a crisp jab.

Oooooh!!! McManus has knocked Louzon down with a huge combo! McManus steps away and waves a wobbly Louzon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
McManus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McManus digs a good body shot into Louzon's ribs.
Louzon misses with a low kick as McManus jumps back.
That kick from McManus tenderised Louzon's leg. Louzon is trying to keep his angry face on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Connor McManus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joe Louzon's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!

Louzon throws an ugly left hook that misses

and McManus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Louzon!
McManus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
McManus tries to control but Louzon wriggling away.
Louzon is in a horrible position here. McManus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Louzon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McManus on the ground.
Louzon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McManus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McManus with shots to the head and body - Louzon looks very uncomfortable down there.
McManus trying to control but Louzon is having none of it.
McManus unloading with bombs!

That's one minute gone in the round.
McManus is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Louzon goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for McManus!
