Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matts Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. The key to victory for Paulo Andre has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra avoids the head kick by Andre.

Andre lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Serra slips a jab and a cross from Andre.

Andre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Serra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andre was covering up waiting for the punch and Serra finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Andre wants to stand and escape but Serra is having none of it.
Serra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

and Serra counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Andre down! Serra is looking to finish but Andre is intelligently defending himself.

Andre won't allow Serra to pass to mount.
Serra seems to be looking for submissions.
Serra works his way into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Andre wants to control but Serra postures up.

Andre wants to get back to his feet.
