Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fensch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestling Coach and Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fensch comes to the cage accompanied by Waking the demon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Fensch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wrestling Coach and Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Fensch throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Coach and Fighter pushes Fensch up against the cage in a clinch.
Fensch wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Coach and Fighter manages to pull guard.

Coach and Fighter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fensch has picked Coach and Fighter up and slammed him! Coach and Fighter can't keep hold of the triangle and Fensch manages to pass to side control!
Coach and Fighter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Fensch decides to stand up, so the ref orders Coach and Fighter to his feet.
Fensch misses with a hook.
Fensch throws a series of punches but Coach and Fighter moves out of range.

Fensch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coach and Fighter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fensch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coach and Fighter.

Fensch gets caught flat footed, as Coach and Fighter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Coach and Fighter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fensch works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Coach and Fighter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fensch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Coach and Fighter has Fensch in his guard.

Fensch tries to stand but Coach and Fighter is controlling from the bottom.
Coach and Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fensch is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coach and Fighter uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Coach and Fighter stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Coach and Fighter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fensch rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Coach and Fighter's guard! Nice work there by Fensch!

Coach and Fighter manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coach and Fighter swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Fensch is now in Coach and Fighter's guard. A big mistake from Coach and Fighter there, giving up the dominant position!
Coach and Fighter looks gassed!
Fensch has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Coach and Fighter is proving hard to escape from.
Coach and Fighter lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fensch!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fensch throws a lazy right hand but Coach and Fighter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Coach and Fighter drops his hands momentarily and Fensch takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fensch throws a leg kick that misses.
Fensch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coach and Fighter.
Fensch misses the shot to the body.
Fensch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Coach and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fensch won't be happy with that.

Fensch avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Coach and Fighter.

Coach and Fighter decides to stand back up. Coach and Fighter steps back and let's Fensch get back to his feet.

Coach and Fighter has Fensch pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fensch manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Coach and Fighter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Coach and Fighter is trying to trip Fensch. He has hold of a leg but Fensch is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Coach and Fighter persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Coach and Fighter shoots in but Fensch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Coach and Fighter looks for a takedown but Fensch sprawls well.
