Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alverez lands a nice looking body shot.
Efgh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alverez is fending him off so far but Efgh persists. Nope, Alverez circles away and we're back to standing.
Alverez darts in and clinches Efgh up against the cage.
Alverez lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Alverez breaks from the clinch.
Efgh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alverez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Efgh somewhat.
Efgh misses with a takedown attempt - Alverez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thiago Alverez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abcd Efgh.
Alverez has Efgh up against the cage in a clinch.

Efgh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Alverez fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Efgh tries to keep at a distance but Alverez has taken the fight into the clinch.

Efgh wants to take the fight to the mat but Alverez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Alverez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Efgh is looking for a takedown.

Alverez tries a body shot but Efgh blocks it.

Alverez throws a low kick but Efgh moves out of range easily.
Alverez rushes Efgh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Alverez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alverez stuns Efgh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Alverez wants to clinch but Efgh slips to the side
and Efgh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Alverez's guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Alverez looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Efgh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Efgh passes into half guard.
Efgh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Efgh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alverez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Efgh throws a strike but Alverez avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Efgh is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Alverez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Alverez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Alverez connects with a body shot that sends Efgh's belly button to the back.

Alverez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Efgh on the side of the head.
