Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonhe Deman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jonhe Deman enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Baker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonhe Deman! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker shoots in but no luck this time. Deman wants to clinch. Deman wants to clinch. Baker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Deman fails in his attempt to clinch. Baker shoots in and drives through. Deman sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deman is looking to clinch but Baker is avoiding it.
Baker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Deman has time to react. Baker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Deman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Deman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Baker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Deman keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully. Deman wants to get back to his feet but Baker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Baker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baker showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Baker postures up in Deman's guard and throws a big left but Deman blocks it. Baker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Baker trying to control the position from guard on top but Deman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Deman is looking to stand up but Baker isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker wants to control from the top but Deman keeps moving.
Bobby Baker has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Deman doesn't manage to clinch there - Baker circles away.
Deman tries to clinch up. Baker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Deman sprawls well. Deman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baker gets slowly back to his feet. Deman forces Baker back against the cage and clinches. Baker wants the takedown. Deman is fighting it off but Baker persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Deman's guard against the cage. Baker tries to free his leg and advance position but Deman is retaining full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Deman keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deman wants to stand but Baker is controlling the position. Baker trying to control the position from guard on top but Deman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bobby Baker. Deman moves to clinch but Baker breaks away and Baker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Deman won't be happy with that. Baker is looking to take a break and control but Deman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Baker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Deman, who protects the arm well. Baker trying to control the action but Deman is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Deman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Baker yanks on the arm and Deman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Baker.
