Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charles Bennett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ric Slobberknocker! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett shoots in for a double leg but Slobberknocker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Slobberknocker throws a poor cross that misses
and Bennett counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bennett. Bennett working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Slobberknocker thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bennett makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bennett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bennett missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bennett won't allow Slobberknocker to sweep him here. Slobberknocker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bennett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Slobberknocker has Bennett pulled in close to control his posture. Slobberknocker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slobberknocker controls Bennett momentarily but Bennett frees himself. Slobberknocker can't keep his opponent in guard - Bennett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bennett looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bennett thows a huge punch but Slobberknocker dodges it nicely.
Bennett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Slobberknocker won't allow Bennett to pass to mount. Slobberknocker tries to get to full guard but Bennett has control of the leg. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bennett lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slobberknocker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bennett is working away from the top position though. Slobberknocker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bennett scores with a couple of nice shots. Slobberknocker avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bennett. Slobberknocker tries to roll over but Bennett keeps him under control. Bennett scoring with strikes to the body and head. Slobberknocker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bennett sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Slobberknocker defending well though. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Slobberknocker's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bennett thows a huge punch but Slobberknocker dodges it nicely.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ric Slobberknocker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Charles Bennett! Charles Bennett tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
