Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbi Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marusz Mariusz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen doesn't manage to clinch there - Mariusz circles away.

and Mariusz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sonnen's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sonnen wants to stand up but Mariusz is controlling him.

Mariusz has closed the distance and engaged Sonnen in a clinch.
Sonnen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sonnen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sonnen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mariusz circles away quickly and effectively.
Mariusz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sonnen's waist but Sonnen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mariusz off to one side.

Mariusz has a takedown stuffed.
Mariusz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sonnen was covering up waiting for the punch and Mariusz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sonnen is looking to stand up but Mariusz isn't so interested in that idea.
Sonnen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Mariusz wants to control from the top but Sonnen keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
