Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Situation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Situation comes to the cage accompanied by Worlds Greatest. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud throws a head kick but Situation moves out of range.

Situation gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stroud to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Stroud trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stroud is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Stroud stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Situation swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Situation wants to get back to his feet but Stroud is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Situation swings for the body but Stroud moves out of range.
Stroud tries to clinch there but Situation circles away.

Situation tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stroud was well out of range. Poor timing from Situation.

Situation throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stroud moves to clinch but Situation breaks away
and Situation counters with a nice uppercut.

Situation is looking to clinch.
Stroud connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The Situation is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Some bone on bone action there as Stroud checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Stroud rushes Situation and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Stroud turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stroud manages to end up in side control.

Stroud tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stroud has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Stroud lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Situation is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Stroud stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Stroud misses with a takedown attempt - Situation sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nice sprawl there from Situation as Stroud shoots in.

Stroud darts in and clinches Situation up against the cage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Situation struggles to land a body shot inside as Stroud controls his hands.

Situation's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stroud swats away the attempt to clinch by Situation.

Situation rushes Stroud and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Situation takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Situation can't find room to land a body shot as Stroud controls the action.

Stroud ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stroud no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stroud is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Stroud gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Situation keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Stroud tries to bum rush Situation with a series of wild strikes but Situation uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Stroud jumps into guard, dragging Situation to the mat.

Situation got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stroud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Situation has managed to get both his arms back between Stroud's legs - danger averted.
Stroud has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Situation tries to stand but Stroud is controlling from the bottom.
Situation postures up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Stroud throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Stroud bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Situation's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stroud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stroud is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stroud lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Stroud is looking to stand up but Situation won't let him.

Stroud decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Situation, up you get!

Stroud moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Situation slaps away a takedown attempt from Stroud, before circling back to the center of the mat.
