Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jet Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Stan Bush - Dare as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jet Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Davis!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Black throws a nice outside leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Black.
Davis on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Doug Davis has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Davis.
Davis throws a lazy body kick
and Black counters with a stiff right hand.
Davis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis misses with a straight left.
Davis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Davis tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis looks to land a right hand but Black moved out of range.
Black scoring well with a low kick there.
Davis lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Black throws a leg kick which misses Davis's front leg but catches the back leg as Davis tries to avoid it.
Davis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Black.
Davis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Davis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Davis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Black scores with a body shot.
Davis throws a hook to the side of Black's head but Black sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis tries to land a front kick but Black steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Davis tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Davis throws a hook but Black blocks it.
Davis misses with an attempted mid kick.

Davis takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Davis throws out a leg kick but Black moves out of range and Davis only half commits.
Black tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from Black.
Davis misses with a head kick.
A nice combination there by Black.
Both fighters circling a little - Black finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Davis looks gassed!

Davis instigates a clinch.
Davis misses with an elbow strike.
Black is struggling to control the position.
Davis throws a punch but it's blocked by Black.
Black scores with a shoulder strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davis taking a breather.
Davis lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Davis misses with a punch on the inside.

Black manages to break the clinch.
Davis on the wrong end of a nice hook.

That has opened up Doug Davis's cut even more.
Black misses with an uppercut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Black.
Davis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Davis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Davis needs to keep his hands up - Black had a free shot at his head there.

Davis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Davis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Black with a nice cross.
Black throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Black does no damage.
BOOM! Black lands a beautiful left hook that drops Davis. Davis tries to recover but Black is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Davis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jet Black!
