Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Salaam throws a head kick that misses.
Baba scores with a leg kick.
Salaam lands a big head kick that sends Baba tumbling to the mat! Salaam takes a step backwards and waves Baba back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Showhey Baba has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salaam misses with a double jab.
Baba feints and then cracks Salaam's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Salaam down.
Salaam lands a head kick!
Baba is rocked!
Geiger Salaam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Salaam - that's a beauty! Baba is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Salaam can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Geiger Salaam!
