The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Oliveira 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Edinaldo Oliveira has been cut.
Dio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dio throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dio throws a hook to the side of Oliveira's head but Oliveira sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dio is looking to slow Oliveira down with leg kicks.
Oliveira takes a swing at Dio's ribcage but misses.
Oliveira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oliveira swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dio connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oliveira's hands.
Oliveira avoids the head kick by Dio.
A slow jab from Oliveira misses its intended target.
Zack Dio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oliveira scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dio doesn't seem bothered though.
Oliveira works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oliveira uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira cracks Dio's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Dio slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Oliveira can do further damage! This one is done, son!
