Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Diego Biamonte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Kim! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim ducks under a wild hook from Biamonte. Biamonte throws a nice outside leg kick. Kim blocks a head kick by Biamonte.
Biamonte rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage. Kim drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Biamonte gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Biamonte creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kim's defenses.
It looks like Nick Kim has been cut. Biamonte tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kim avoids it. That has opened up Nick Kim's cut even more. Biamonte misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kim.
Biamonte throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kim blocks it with crossed arms. Biamonte tries a knee to the head but Kim blocks it.
Biamonte lands an elbow inside that Kim shrugs off. Kim has Biamonte pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Biamonte manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kim jumps guard but Biamonte turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Diego Biamonte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Kim.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biamonte with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Biamonte lands an elbow that stopped Kim in his tracks for a moment.

Nick Kim's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Biamonte lands a nice elbow.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nick Kim's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
