Overeem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bangarang. Ketchup has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. John Ketchup has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jean Claude Overeem's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchup shoots in looking for a takedown but Overeem manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ketchup's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Overeem looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ketchup has a takedown stuffed.
Ketchup looks gassed!

Overeem closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ketchup tries to circle away but Overeem has him pinned against the cage.
Overeem connects with a knee to the head.
Ketchup is trying to drag Overeem to the mat but Overeem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Overeem is looking to improve his position but Ketchup isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Overeem bucks Ketchup off and manages to get back to his feet!
