Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson De Ruiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson De Ruiz Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Newton! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Ruiz Silva has his takedown stuffed and Newton moves into the clinch. Newton has had enough of the clinch but De Ruiz Silva keeps him there for the moment. Newton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed De Ruiz Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Newton trying to control. Newton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Ruiz Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Newton is trying to stick to De Ruiz Silva's back but De Ruiz Silva is turning into Newton. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Newton's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by De Ruiz Silva. Newton tries to land a sweep but no joy. De Ruiz Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Newton working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Ruiz Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. De Ruiz Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Newton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Ruiz Silva somewhat. Newton misses with a head kick.
De Ruiz Silva tries to clinch there but Newton circles away.
Newton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Newton lands in his opponent's guard. Newton is looking to stand up but De Ruiz Silva won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Newton is looking to advance position but De Ruiz Silva has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Newton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. De Ruiz Silva lands a heavy elbow. Newton taking shots to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Ruiz Silva looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Newton is bucking up trying to escape but De Ruiz Silva cracks him with another couple of good strikes. De Ruiz Silva content just to control the position here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. De Ruiz Silva landing shots from mount. De Ruiz Silva is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! De Ruiz Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
De Ruiz Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Ruiz Silva controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Ruiz Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Newton looks a forlorn figure.
De Ruiz Silva lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Newton is wriggling around trying to escape.
Newton looks gassed! Newton tries to hold on but De Ruiz Silva pushes him away. De Ruiz Silva lands a big elbow. De Ruiz Silva has control of Newton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Newton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Ruiz Silva with shots to the head and body - Newton looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson De Ruiz Silva dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Newton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Newton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. De Ruiz Silva pulls Newton in close to his closed guard and prevents Newton from doing any damage or advancing position. De Ruiz Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Newton is proving a slippery customer.
De Ruiz Silva is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Newton frees his head nicely. Oh but De Ruiz Silva has switched to an armbar! Newton is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
