The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Terrier's guard. Terrier wants to get back to his feet but Gracie passes into half guard.
Terrier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gracie is trying for a kimura here. Terrier looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gracie wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Renzo Gracie! An out of breath Renzo Gracie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
