The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Velazquez misses the target.
Velazquez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Velazquez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atmee manages to avoid it.
Left hook, right uppercut from Velazquez .

It looks like Kahm Atmee has been cut.
Atmee misses with a straight left.
Atmee swings for the body but Velazquez moves out of range.
Velazquez misses with a looping left.
Atmee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velazquez moves away.
Velazquez feints with a jab and clips Atmee right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Atmee is sent crashing into the canvas and Velazquez leaps in for the kill! Atmee tries to get to his feet but Velazquez is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Atmee is in need of a savior and steps in!

After winning the bout, Sergio Velazquez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
