Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Koreshkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Silerto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silerto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imperial march kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Koreshkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joey Silerto! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silerto takes a swing at Koreshkov's ribcage but misses. Koreshkov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Silerto slips a jab and a cross from Koreshkov.
Silerto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Koreshkov did well to prevent Silerto getting side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Silerto is figuring out what he wants to do next. Silerto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silerto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Silerto with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Silerto lands a nice short elbow. Silerto keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. It looks like Silerto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Silerto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Koreshkov is just riding it out for now. Silerto eventually gives up the hold. Silerto works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silerto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Silerto quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Silerto but it's paid off an Koreshkov is forced to tap! Nice work by Silerto.
